Welcome to the parish of St. Anthony of Padua in Mossley Hill, Liverpool.

We are a Franciscan parish served by the Friars Minor Conventual, Catholic men dedicated to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi.

We focus on the Gospel life, embraced by Francis, our Seraphic Father and founder. His light has been guiding us for eight centuries.

Thank You (Harvest)

Thank you to our school children for the beautiful Harvest Festival of Thanksgiving on Thursday. Enjoy their artwork on display. Thank you for the kind offering of food. Parishioners may place their offering of food alongside the children’s during the offertory at masses over the weekend. Thanks be to God from whom all good things come....

On the mend

Apologies for the scaffolding over the front of the church. We are repairing the roof sections over the front of the church, and especially the dome of the tower which is leaking severely into the tower. We will clean out the interior of the tower and properly depigeon it for the future. Hopefully we will get the bell working as well. The scaffolding will remain up for a while as we clean the exterior of the church with a power spray. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time....
